DOG SITTING

Violet's "Flowers" litter

I offer dog sitting and daycare services to all cavaliers, cavalier  mixes, and smaller friendly spaniels of all ages.  Adult dogs will have free roam of the house, frequent outings and access to doggie door.  Puppies still in process of  housebreaking, are contained in an X pen but will still have frequent outings and outdoor access.
There is no kenneling or crating here, unless you want to bring your own because it functions as your dog's bed. Fees includes premium food or you may bring your own food.  Treats are given daily with your permission. Your dog must be socialized to other dogs and be a cavalier or at least look similar to one, because my dogs discriminate against other breeds.   Cavaliers do have the ability to recognize other cavaliers, and mine quickly welcome others into their pack.
A "Meet and Greet" or trial overnight stay is required for all newcomers.  We have a VCA vet located less then two miles away and $2,000.00 pet insurance coverage for your dog provided through Dog Vacay.
I am Trustline certified: California's fingerprint profile and criminal background clearances for professional in home care providers.
Several references available upon request from past guests.

What you should bring when you drop off your dog?
I only require current rabies vaccine if your dog is old enough.
The most important thing to bring is enough dog food and treats, if you are bringing your own, and have it measured out for the entire stay.
You should also bring leash and any medications with directions.
You may also want to bring your dog's bed or an old shirt or blanket that smells like you and home.  We do NOT recommend bringing toys.
If there's a toy that your puppy really loves, it's probably better to leave it home so it doesn't become community property.
